  17. <p>    In the unlikely event that Barbra Streisand will perform
  18. live anytime soon, rest assured she probably won't do it in a
  19. Colorado ski lodge. At a swank AIDS benefit last week, Babs
  20. blasted the state's new measure banning antidiscrimination
  21. protection for gays and lesbians and urged members of the
  22. celebrity-packed audience (Warren Beatty and Liza Minnelli were
  23. there) to steer clear of the winter wonderland if a Colorado
  24. boycott gets under way. Declared Streisand: "If we're asked to,
  25. we must refuse to play where they discriminate."
